Meet Inch
Inch discovered reformer Pilates during her postpartum journey and instantly fell in love with it. With the support of her mentor, she decided to start teaching so she could share that same joy with others.
Her teaching style? Slow, mindful, and controlled. Inch focuses on breathwork and the mind–muscle connection, helping you move with intention, engage deeply, and be kind to yourself every step of the way.
Favourite class to teach? She says it’s not about the class—it’s about the people. The warmth comes from seeing familiar faces returning to move together.
💡 Fun fact: Inch was a sport climbing coach for 8 years—even though she’s actually afraid of heights!

Meet JD
JD started his movement journey as a martial artist, practicing wushu from age 13 and even picking up a few medals along the way. Eventually, he turned inward—first through meditation, and then through yoga.
After working across fast paced industries like investment, banking, and journalism, JD knows what it’s like to feel the mental clutter. Yoga became his way of hitting pause, and now he guides students to meet themselves in the present moment, helping them move and breathe with intention. His Hatha classes are chill yet energizing, giving space to listen to your body and mind while still feeling uplifted and connected.
When he’s not teaching, JD volunteers at a hospice, spending time with patients receiving end-of-life care.
💡 Fun fact: JD loves his anime—Pokémon, Naruto, Demon Slayer, Star Wars, and Marvel all make the list!

Meet Joyce
Joyce teaches both Barre and Yoga — including prenatal, postpartum, and fertility classes. She’s a proud (and self-proclaimed “crazy”) mum of two girls and one cat, with yoga and mindfulness as her anchors in this season of beautiful chaos.
Before becoming a teacher, Joyce spent almost a decade as a graphic designer. She left the design world in search of more meaning and purpose, and after completing her YTT, she found herself teaching full-time. Pregnant women began showing up in her classes, and one determined student in particular — still exploring arm balances and headstands while heavily pregnant — inspired Joyce to take up prenatal training. That experience reshaped her journey as a teacher, teaching her not just skills, but also compassion and the art of holding space.
Prenatal yoga now holds a very special place in Joyce’s heart. She believes matrescence is a sacred, transformative journey, and sees yoga as a powerful way to support and witness it. For Joyce, there’s no “perfect shape” or pose — just what’s needed in each season of life.
Her classes are nurturing, grounding, and fiery — designed to support you where you are while inviting you to grow with strength and confidence.
💡 Fun fact: Joyce finds “sensory therapy” in the pool — she loves floating in the water, watching sunlight ripple through with her new pink goggles."

Meet Cayla
Movement has been a lifelong passion for Cayla, and Pilates became her way of connecting mind and body. After experiencing the transformative benefits herself, she knew she wanted to share this practice with others and pursued certification to become a qualified instructor.
Cayla is passionate about helping her students build strength, flexibility, and confidence in their own bodies. She believes every body is capable of growth and progress, and she tailors her teaching to meet each person where they are.
Beyond the physical, she loves creating a supportive, encouraging environment where everyone feels welcome to explore movement at their own pace.
When she’s not teaching, Cayla enjoys learning about nutrition, wellness, and holistic health, and she brings that curiosity into her classes to inspire mindful movement and balanced living. Her ultimate goal is to help others feel empowered, strong, and energized—both on and off the reformer.

Meet Felicia
Having practiced Pilates for a few years, Felicia has experienced how it can help you feel stronger and more connected to your body. She wanted to share that with others, bringing a supportive and detail-focused teaching style that helps students move safely and mindfully. She designs her classes with a flowy, feel-good rhythm so that everyone leaves both energised and refreshed.
Felicia especially loves teaching Mat Essentials because, even though it’s beginner-friendly, it offers a challenge for everyone at different levels. Her classes are supportive, fun, and energising—perfect for leaving students feeling stronger and more confident.
Felicia is currently taking a gap year after graduating from university and can’t function without her daily matcha fix—probably a little too much, but she’s unapologetic about it! 🍵 She loves traveling and exploring new places, always on the lookout for her next adventure.

Meet Fanny
Fanny is all about balance—she loves the beach, dogs, people, and family, and that sense of joy and connection shines through in her classes. Pilates started as a way for her to care for her own body and prevent wear and tear, but it quickly grew into a passion for empowering others to do the same.
Her teaching style shifts depending on the client and the mood of the class—you might find her playful and joking one moment, then creating a calm pocket of silence the next. Either way, you can always count on her sessions to feel relaxed and low-stress, giving you space to move, breathe, and enjoy.
💡 Fun fact: Fanny can turn even the simplest moment—whether at the beach or in class—into something lighthearted and full of good vibes.

Meet Hayley
Hayley is a classic middle child (so if she comes off a little odd sometimes, that’s why 😅), a mum to a little one, and pawrent to a very cheeky mini goldendoodle.
She especially loves teaching barre because it’s so accessible to everyone, no matter your age or fitness level. Barre makes exercise fun while blending strength, rhythm, and grace into a low-impact workout that really works. Her classes are designed to leave you feeling challenged, energised, and just a little taller.
Outside the studio, Hayley is an adventurer at heart—happiest when she’s hiking, diving, or even skydiving. But day to day, it’s movement that keeps her grounded, clear-headed, and most alive.

Meet Anita
After more than a decade as a pole dance instructor, Anita found yoga as a way to restore and heal her body from all the wear and tear. Curious to learn more, she headed to Bali for a residential teacher training to fully immerse herself in the practice and philosophy — and she’s been teaching ever since.
She has a soft spot for the beauty of basics, believing that simple, foundational movements done with intention can be the most powerful. That’s why Slow Flow is her favourite to teach: it gives space to move mindfully, refine alignment, and truly feel each pose. She also loves guiding Stretch & Release, since creating space and freedom in the body is something she values in her own practice.
Her classes are supportive, clear, and empowering — shaped by her background as a counsellor and dance instructor. She blends mindful movement with strong technique, helping students reduce stress, build confidence, and feel deeply connected to themselves.
💡 Fun fact: Anita once spent a whole year taking online private contortion lessons with a Cirque du Soleil contortionist!

Meet Ashley
Ashley believes in the power of sound to guide us back to ourselves. Her Soundbath sessions are all about helping students breathe, connect, and find clarity—creating a space where even the simplest practices can be deeply transformative. She’s awed by the post-practice clarity of mind and loves reminding students that there is no pose too simple to re-learn from the foundation.
Her classes focus on the basics and balancing poses, providing a gentle yet grounding experience that allows students to settle into the present moment. Foundations of the practice are her passion, and she encourages everyone to explore movement and sound at their own pace, tuning in to both body and mind.
💡 Fun fact: When she’s not teaching, Ashley enjoys riding her manual two-wheeler and sipping sake and whisky (though never at the same time!)

Meet Priscilla
Priscilla’s Pilates journey began when her husband suffered from a herniated disc. Seeing how Pilates completely alleviated his back pain left her amazed and inspired to dive deeper into the practice.
She believes Pilates is so effective that it simply has to be shared. With a focus on technique, form, and mind-body awareness, Priscilla’s classes help clients build strength while moving with intention and connection.
Her favourite class to teach is Reformer Essentials — she loves meeting new people and sharing her passion for Pilates with every class.
💡 Fun fact: Priscilla used to be a music teacher, so don’t be surprised if you hear some of her favourite 80s and funk hits during class 🎶.

Meet Paulene
Paulene is a digital product designer by day and a Pilates teacher by night, usually fuelled by one (or two) coffees to keep her going. She first got into Pilates because it felt like a safe way to build strength without forcing her body into movements that didn’t feel right. That experience is what inspired her to start teaching — helping clients connect with their bodies and discover what quality movement truly feels like.
Her classes aren’t about chasing the most complicated exercise. Instead, she focuses on movement that makes you feel good, confident, and capable — both in and out of the studio. Paulene especially loves teaching privates, where she gets to support clients in their personal goals, watch them grow stronger over time, and celebrate all the little wins along the way.
💡 Fun fact: Paulene’s two cats are named after chocolate — Kinder and Buena — and when she’s not spoiling them, she’s usually baking up fresh bread.

Meet Shiqin
Shiqin (Shee-Keen) is a mum of two boys, an outdoor lover, and a self-confessed travel junkie who’s always up for the next adventure. After six years of teaching yoga, she wanted to broaden her horizons — and when reformer Pilates started gaining popularity (and looked way too fun to resist), she decided to jump in. In 2023, she completed her training and has been loving the ride ever since.
She enjoys teaching both Essentials and Progressions classes. Essentials brings her back to basics — focusing on alignment, slowing things down, and connecting to each movement. Progressions, on the other hand, lets her turn things up a notch, adding challenging twists that keep clients engaged and growing stronger.
Her classes strike that sweet spot of calm yet challenging, leaving you grounded but with a good burn.
💡 Fun fact: Before becoming a Pilates teacher, Shiqin spent 8 years as a full-time beach lifeguard at Sentosa!

Meet Nicole
Nicole has been moving since the age of five, starting out with ballet before branching into contemporary, hip hop, and even a little break dancing in between. While she once dreamed of becoming a professional dancer, life had other plans—but movement has always been her constant. Now a mum of two boys, Nicole has poured her lifelong love of movement into creating a safe, non-judgmental space where people can get stronger, feel seen, and connect with their community. Think of Root & Rise as a cozy neighbourhood hangout, where progress matters more than perfection.
Having taken time to reconnect with her own body after pregnancy and postpartum, Nicole has a soft spot for supporting mums through these seasons of life. Her teaching style blends strong, flowy sequences with movements that feel natural in the body. She has a knack for making students feel comfortable while gently pushing them to discover they’re capable of more than they think. Nicole also likes keeps things lighthearted—because honestly, there are way more important things in life than nailing the perfect teaser.
Fun fact: In her "past life", Nicole studied Art History and worked as an art specialist in an international auction house.

Meet Jess Hang
Jess has been practicing yoga for over six years and teaching for more than two, but what started as a hobby has now become a way of life. She’s constantly challenging herself—whether it’s refining technique, building strength, or exploring the subtleties of breath and mindfulness—and she brings that same energy into her classes.
Students often describe Jess as flamboyant, cheerful, and deeply caring. Her teaching is structured yet uplifting, with clear guidance and plenty of encouragement so that every student feels safe, empowered, and supported in their practice.
She especially loves teaching Wheel Yoga, a versatile practice that helps beginners explore new poses safely and allows more experienced students to dive into deeper stretches. For Jess, it’s the perfect blend of fun, challenge, and growth.
💡 Fun fact: Jess has a soft spot for inversions—she loves flipping upside down just to see the world from a different angle.
